I'll be headed back to Seattle next week for a job interview. How was I to know, when I was last in Seattle back in August, that in 3 months' time I would be out of a job, trying to get a new one, and possibly be living and working back in Seattle by X-mas? The Gods do love their irony.

Holy crap! I can't believe they let you go. One wonders why the hell they bothered to make a management position for you if they were eventually just going to eliminate it. Speaking of eliminated positions, you'd mentioned a while back that they'd eliminated the casting department. I meant to ask, but didn't think it would be appropriate at the time, what happened to the people who were in the casting department? Well anyway, good luck in Seattle. I know that you've always wanted to end up there. I'm sure you'll do very well in the interview.
